Baby dies after possible heat-related illness while on boat in Arizona
LAKE HAVASU CITY, Ariz. — A 4-month-old baby died after being rushed to the hospital from Lake Havasu for a reported heat-related illness during the Fourth of July weekend. The Mohave County Sheriff's Office said the baby was transported from a boat on the lake to the Lake Havasu Regional Medical Center on July 5 at about 5 p.m.
Henderson Woman Charged with Attempted Murder in Dolan Springs Shooting
An incident that unfolded in northwestern Arizona has led to the arrest of a woman who admitted to shooting her husband. The Mohave County Sheriff's Office reported that on July 3, around 12 p.m., Amber Bender, age 41, called 911 confessing to have shot her husband at their residence in Dolan Springs. Deputies responding to the scene discovered the victim with a gunshot wound to his back. He was urgently airlifted to a Las Vegas hospital where he is currently listed in critical condition.
