    Crime Stoppers Pickleball Tournament raises funds for P3 app

    Help Crime Stoppers of the QC raise funds while showing off your pickleball skills.

    The Crime Stoppers of the QC Pickleball Tournament will be at the Quad City Tennis Club, 1522 47 th Avenue in Moline on Saturday, August 10. Check-in starts at 9:30 a.m. and play starts at 10 a.m. Proceeds from the tournament will help fund the P3 Campus school safety app.

    All skill levels are welcome to play, and all players must be 21 and over. There are two divisions, the police and fire challenge and the open division. Open division players will not be broken down by age, gender or skill level. Each team is guaranteed at least three matches. Each match is played to 15 points and must win by at least two points.

    Trophies will be awarded for first, second and third place in each bracket. The tournament is limited to 32 teams. Registration includes a t-shirt for each player and food and drinks from Smokin’ Butts BBQ and Bent River Brewery.

    Registration ends on Friday, August 2 at midnight. Email rrosenth@molineschools.org to register.
