WisDOT hosts summer road safety event with hands-on tips
MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) -The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) held an event Tuesday to inform the public on road safety this summer. The event featured numerous informative booths such as car seat fitting, driving safely in construction zones and more. Attendees were also able to meet a K-9 team, tour a Wisconsin State Patrol car and see first hand all the ways to work together to keep the roads safe.

Northern Wisconsin man identified as crash victim in Marathon County
(WFRV) – Authorities from the Marathon County Sheriff’s Office have identified the victim of a single-vehicle crash on July 25. The victim, 63-year-old Keith Johnson, was identified as a Rhinelander resident. The crash occurred late in the morning near the intersection of State Highway 29 and Silk Road.
