Severe weather hits Wisconsin State Fair; fun continues, rain or shine
WEST ALLIS, Wis. - The 174th Wisconsin State Fair opened on Thursday, Aug. 1, with lots of fun – and some intense weather. Thursday was a beautiful start to the fair, but in the evening, things got a bit intense with thunderstorms. Rain and lightning sent people scrambling, and the State Fair advised attendees to seek shelter.

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - For more than nine decades, Millie’s Italian Sausage has been a Wisconsin State Fair staple. Best known for their Italian sausage, the owner Mike Millie said it’s been a family recipe that has been passed through four generations. With two tents, the family is looking forward to serving fair customers one last time before new ownership takes over the business.
