Washington man accused of assault after being told he couldn’t live at woman’s new apartment
A Washington man allegedly upset after being told he couldn’t live at a woman’s new apartment is accused of assaulting her. The incident occurred at the Tiffin apartment of the victim Wednesday afternoon. According to the arrest report, 26-year-old Barron Cunningham became angry when the woman told him he couldn’t live with her at the new apartment. When she said she was going to call 911, he allegedly grabbed the phone from the victim’s hands and threw it beside the refrigerator where she couldn’t reach it. Cunningham’s actions reportedly caused her pain and left red marks.

Iowa City woman charged with OWI and Child Endangerment
An Iowa City woman faces possible prison time after being charged with her 3rd OWI and a count of Child Endangerment. Police say the incident occurred Sunday evening. According to the arrest report, 40-year-old Heather Zaehringer of East Court Street got in to an argument with her spouse. The spouse and the spouse’s brother left the residence, and Zaehringer reportedly followed them in another vehicle, accompanied by her five year old daughter.

One injured in Rockford, Iowa crash
ABC 6 NEWS — One person was injured in a crash in Rockford, Iowa when a motorcycle crashed into the passenger side of a car. According to a press release from the Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a call about a crash at about 6 P.M. on July 3. The release states that Pedro Gallego, 32, was driving north on Zinnia Avenue when he attempted to make a three-point turn. Jean Dow, 19, was travelling south on the road, when she crashed into the passenger side of Gallego’s car.
