Chiarelli aims to improve quality of life in Morgantown, combat drug epidemic

Route 7 hit-and-run suspect waives preliminary hearing
MONONGALIA COUNTY, W.Va. The suspect in the Route 7 hit-and-run that killed one person has waived his preliminary hearing. David Blaine Emerson, 28, of Morgantown, is accused of speeding and wearing no seatbelts when state troopers attempted to stop the car.
