Notice of Public Hearing Adoption of Official Unified Development Code City of Bogart
The Bogart City Council proposes to adopt the Bogart Unified Development Code. The adoption of the Bogart Unified Development Code shall repeal Bogart Code of Ordinance Chapters 34 (Stormwater Management), 35 (Erosion and Sedimentation Control) and 39 (Land Development), and the previously adopted Zoning Ordinance, Subdivision Ordinance, and the Manufactured Housing Ordinance. The Oconee County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at the Oconee County Administrative Building at 7635 Macon Hwy, Watkinsville, GA, on Monday, July 15, 2024, at 7:00 PM to consider this matter. A public hearing will also be held by the Bogart City Council to decide the matter at their regularly scheduled meeting to be held on Monday, August 12, 2024, at the Bogart Historical Agricultural Building at 7:00 PM. All those having an interest in this petition should be present. A copy of the proposed development code is available for digital viewing at Bogart City Hall and at the Oconee County Planning Department during regular business hours Monday through Friday.
