Astronaut Academy teaches middle schoolers about living and working in space
BANGOR -- Local kids got a chance to experience living and working in outer space this week at the Challenger Learning Center's Astronaut Academy day camp. They built life-sustaining habitats that could work on Mars and learned about gravity, pressure, oxygen, and more. The summer camp is more than just fun -- it gives students an opportunity to think of space exploration as a career.
