Peach Bowl results from Gloucester County Swim Championships
Every summer, swimmers in Gloucester County look forward to the Peach Bowl, which is the county championship meet for summer swimming clubs. On July 23, Brookside Swim Club hosted the championships, and Greenwood Park won the day behind 606 points. Final Team Scores. 1-Greenwood Park: 606. 2-Wenonah: 589. 3-Green-Fields: 552.

Haddonfield Little League team wins first-ever state championship
A parade through the streets of Haddonfield, New Jersey, Thursday evening celebrated the U11 Haddonfield Little League State Champions.On Sunday in Wallington, Haddonfield beat Toms River 9-5 in Game 6. Officials believe this is the first-ever state title for a Haddonfield Little League team."It's a really big thing for our town and these kids," said coach Frank DeLano.Delano says the team showed tremendous resilience throughout the season, but this is about more than just baseball."It's lifelong memories. ‘Keep going and don’t give up’
Six-year-old Haddonfield resident Ari Crossey crossed the finish line at his second triathlon at the Erlton Swim Club in Cherry Hill on July 21. While last year he was the youngest participant to finish, this year Crossey placed first as the event’s only contestant in the kids category. Crossey enjoyed racing by himself and compared it to racing in his own private triathlon.

Join the Haddonfield Public Safety Team for a Parade on Thursday, July 25 at 6 p.m. to celebrate the Little League U11’s recent state championship win. The team was coached by Haddonfield Varsity Football Coach Frank Delano. Community members are invited to show their support by lining the sidewalks of tomorrow’s parade route.
