Popular restaurant in Muskegon Heights hosts free community event
MUSKEGON HEIGHTS, Mich. — One thing that's known to bring a community together is food. On Saturday in Muskegon Heights, a first-of-its-kind event was held offering free food, activities for kids to enjoy, free health education and resources. It’s been facilitating poetry programs in Grand Rapids schools since 2013 and now, completes programs in at least 20-30 classrooms a year in Grand Rapids Public, Kentwood and Muskegon Public schools among others.
