A carjacking incident in Colma led to the arrest of a San Francisco resident last night. According to the Colma Police Department, officers were dispatched to the Serra Center parking lot at about 7:45 PM following the report of a carjacking involving a firearm. The victim reported to officers on site that a male suspect had brandished a weapon and forcibly taken their vehicle.

Student Wins National Fellowship for Community Service
Kathleen Siu ’25 is on a mission to improve public schooling. Siu has worked as both a teacher and an advocate. In fall 2021, she taught English to adults in Colombia. In summer 2023, she developed a bilingual curriculum for first-graders at John Muir Elementary School in San Francisco. She now serves as an academic tutor with the Athletics Department at USF.
