DENVER (KDVR) — Denver police are investigating a June death as a homicide, and are now partnering with Metro Denver Crime Stoppers to provide a reward for information. Police were called to investigate an unresponsive person in a vehicle at West Byron Place and North Yates Street, which is near Sloan’s Lake, on June 5 at about 11 p.m. After arriving, officers found that the person in the car was dead.

A Denver man has been taken into custody for the alleged assault on his mother, which has since escalated to a charge of attempted first-degree murder.
