The airline had to cancel thousands of flights on Saturday, Sunday and Monday after the worldwide CrowdStrike outage. While nearly every airline in the United States was impacted by the outage, Delta Airlines appeared to be the only airline still navigating major issues connected to the outage at Denver International Airport by Monday. Viral one-in-30 million orange lobster saved from Red Lobster will now reside in Denver
I’ve got to give it up for Red Lobster here. They’re very publicly dealing with money issues, and this may have been a way to recoup some of the cash they’ve been losing, but, instead, they did something pretty cool. An ultra-rare orange-colored lobster ended up in...
A Denver Olympics? Why landing Winter Games — at least for now — is unlikely | Special report
Press play for a time machine into Colorado’s last real chance to host the Olympics. The Denver Chamber of Commerce produced a 14-minute promotional video for hosting the 1976 Winter Games. It opens with grainy aerial views of the Rocky Mountains, cowboys on horseback, a Native American ceremony, skiers busting through powder, a cheesy soundtrack and a booming voice: The Denver Olympic story starts in a land of Olympian proportions....

The One Free Agent Left Who Makes Sense For The Avalanche
It’s slim pickings out there on the NHL free agent market. Although I wasn’t the biggest Daniel Sprong fan around, he was the best free agent left if you were in need of a forward. He might not be much of an all-around threat, but back-to-back 40 points is nothing to sneeze at, and for Vancouver to get that for under a million is solid value. With him gone, there really isn’t all that much to get excited about if you’re looking at things from an Avalanche perspective.
