Thieves Snatch Packages from FedEx Delivery Driver in Montclair, Flee in Three Vehicles

MONTCLAIR, NJ - A FedEx delivery driver was the victim of a strong-armed robbery in the rear parking lot by the Grove Street stores on July 12, Montclair Police reported.

The incident took place around midday when the driver was making her routine deliveries. As she parked her truck at the rear parking lot of Oxford Street and began unloading her truck, three individuals approached her from behind, forcefully grabbed the packages from her arms, and fled in different directions.

According to the Montclair Police Department, two suspects ran towards Oxford Street and got into a gold Honda that was waiting for them. The third suspect entered a silver Honda, which fled towards Walnut Street. Surveillance footage also revealed a third vehicle, a blue Honda, that accompanied the two suspect vehicles.

The suspects were described as a black male, with dreadlocks, a beard, wearing a white shirt, stripped shorts, white and red shoes. Suspect two was
described as a male with a beard wearing all black and a hat. Suspect three was a black male wearing a yellow t-shirt, black Nike shorts, and white sneakers.

The stolen packages contained cellphones and medication, items of significant value and urgency.
