4th of July celebrations feature local farmers markets
Nothing says Americana more than good ol' fashioned picnics on the Fourth of July. Growing up in West Marin, we would pack a bunch of food and head out to the beach to join our local community to break bread, swim and enjoy an early evening bonfire as soon as the fog started to roll in. Now that I live in Sonoma County, there are so many fun things to do to celebrate the Fourth of July. Living in Kenwood, there is the world's cutest parade and pancake breakfast.

This Collab Between Three-Michelin-Starred Restaurants Promises a Powerhouse Plant-Based Menu

When two three-Michelin-starred restaurants collab for a two-night dinner series, does that make the meal a six-star experience? The menu is “fully plant-based,” a press release shares, and features produce from around Sonoma County and SingleThread’s own farm.
Marine Layer Wines redefines Healdsburg tasting experience
With all the hubbub that defines the Wine Country experience for some (tourism, bachelor or bachelorette parties, DUIs), occasionally, locals just want a good glass of wine—in a clean, well-lighted place (forgive me, Hemingway). But why keep it so simple? While we’re dreaming, why not make it an excellent...
