The Black Wisconsin high school superintendent who was pushed by a white father at a graduation ceremony on May 31 is speaking out. Dr. Rainey Briggs, who is the head of Baraboo School District, stated that an apology from Matthew Eddy is essentially worthless. “An apology just doesn’t make things go away,” Briggs explained to the Daily Mail on Tuesday.

June Dairy Days marches back to Markesan
Hundreds of people descended on Markesan last weekend for its June Dairy Days celebration. This year’s event featured carnival, games for children, petting zoos, musical concerts, a farm family breakfast, Bingo and the annual June Dairy Days Parade, where people lined the streets of Markesan to watch the nearly 100 parade participants go by. Man accused of trying to kidnap children from Wautoma park is charged, $25K cash bond set
WAUTOMA, Wis. (WLUK) – A man who allegedly tried to kidnap children at a Wautoma park was charged Monday. Shiloe Viau, 35, was charged with attempted abduction of a child, attempted false imprisonment, and three other counts. A $25,000 cash bond was set.
