    3 killed in Shelby County crash

    SHELBY COUNTY, Ala. ( WIAT ) — Three people were killed in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday evening in Shelby County.

    Birmingham man struck, killed in gas station parking lot

    According to Shelby County Coroner Lina Evans, around 5 p.m., a vehicle driven by Patricia McCormick, 77, of Montevallo, crossed the center line near the 2500 block of Hwy 119 and struck another vehicle head-on. The passenger in the car with McCormick, 60-year-old Felton Seals, of Montevallo, and the driver of the other vehicle, Patrick Williams, 42, of Montevallo were killed in the wreck as well.

    Coroner’s believe the crash stemmed from McCormick having a medical issue.
