A shooting in Montgomery killed a 17-year-old girl and a 17-year-old boy Monday morning, police say.

Police and fire medics responded to the shooting at about 4:14 a.m. in the 3900 block of Marie Cook Drive, where they found the girl with a fatal gunshot wound, Maj. Saba Coleman said in an email.

They also found the 17-year-old boy, who had a self-inflicted gunshot wound. They pronounced him dead at the scene.

The police department is conducted a homicide investigation for the girl and a death investigation for the boy. Coleman described both shootings as domestic related.

The police are not releasing any more information at this time.
