Contractor strikes critical water main in northern Montgomery County
Contractors working Wednesday in the area of Shoup Mill and Riverside roads struck a critical water main, according to Montgomery County Environmental Services. There are 14 houses without water; however, the majority of the northern region of Montgomery County will be affected because the water main struck feeds water from the city of Dayton’s Miami Water Plant to Montgomery County customers.
