Electrical fire likely cause of house fire that killed elderly couple, says sheriff
LE SUEUR COUNTY, Minn. — The Le Sueur County Sheriff says an "electrical component" likely caused a house fire that killed an elderly couple last Sunday. The Montgomery Fire Department was one of four departments that responded to a 911 call at nearly 1 a.m. and discovered Betty, 73, and Roman Jindra, 76, dead in their kitchen. The sheriff says Betty had called to say the couple was trapped inside.

Detroit Lakes, MN – The Minnesota State Patrol responded to a single vehicle rollover in Detroit Lakes at around 7 o’clock Thursday morning (July 18th). Officials say the vehicle was travelling west on Highway 10 when it went off the roadway and rolled into the ditch, coming to rest on its roof.
