    Mooresville police issue warning about 2 credit card scammers using a U-Haul

    MOORESVILLE, Ind. — The Mooresville Metropolitan Police Department issued a warning about a pair of credit card scammers on Monday.

    According to a Facebook post , MMPD wants to make the public aware of two men who have been going to local businesses in a U-Haul truck and making large purchases with stolen credit cards.

    Police reported that the men have been known to load illegally purchased items into their U-Haul and attempt to leave stores before anybody notices that credit cards have been stolen.

    MMPD has advised that area residents should not approach the alleged suspects. Police are asking those who spot the men or witness scams similar to those the suspects have allegedly orchestrated to call MMPD at (317) 831-3434.
