Longtime Judge Rambo To Retire

Police arrested two male juveniles Friday amid a melee that broke out in a church parking lot after the funeral of a 13-year-old girl who was killed in a homicide. The fight occurred around 1 p.m. as hundreds of people were exiting the Greater Zion Missionary Baptist Church at 212 N Progress Ave. in Susquehanna Township. Fidelity's move to Courthouse Square stalled by rising project costs
SCRANTON — More than two years after Fidelity Bank officials announced plans to relocate the company's headquarters to Courthouse Square, the project remains paused. The Dunmore-based bank purchased the eight-story Scranton Electric Building on Linden Street for $2.6 million and started demolition work; however, the cost of the project nearly doubled from $13 million, pre-COVID, to $25.8 million, bringing work to a halt, said Dan Santaniello, Fidelity's president and CEO.
