Arrest made on the murder of Gary P. Normand
On Monday, July 22, 2024, The Avoyelles Parish Sheriff’s Office (APSO) responded to a report of a deceased person at a residence on LA Highway 1192 in Marksville LA. The deceased subject was later identified as Gary P. Normand of Marksville. The preliminary investigation revealed suspicious circumstances. Further investigation by APSO resulted in the identification of the suspect involved.
