IDAHO FALLS — It was a historical moment for the YMCA in Idaho Falls after employees and the community celebrated the expansion of its child care services at a new location. On Thursday, over 50 people came to a ribbon cutting for the YMCA’s “Early Learning Center” at Idaho State University’s Bennion Building in Idaho Falls. At 2:15 a.m. this morning, August 29, 2024, the Idaho Falls Bonneville County Emergency Communications Center started receiving multiple reports of a car crash on Fremont Avenue, under the Highway 20 overpass. Callers reported that the car was on fire.
