Vigil held for West Haven 12-year-old has community wondering what more could be done
WEST HAVEN, Utah (KUTV) — Community members at a candlelight vigil honoring 12-year-old Gavin Peterson Tuesday night said they felt he was failed by everyone. Weber School District officials said Gavin's stepmom pulled him out of school to be homeschooled — a decision that came on the heels of numerous reports from school employees concerned for his safety.
