Expect road closures in downtown Salt Lake on Pioneer Day
SALT LAKE CITY — Police say Pioneer Day celebrations and an Olympic announcement watch party will cause road closures around downtown Salt Lake City on Wednesday. The Salt Lake City Police Department said in a press release that, “anyone living, working, or visiting Salt Lake City should expect significant and potentially lengthy road closures.”

LOGAN – Officials here in Logan have announced closures and modified schedules for Logan City services and facilities during the Pioneer Day holiday. “Residential garbage, recycling and green waste will be collected as usual on Wednesday, July 24,” according to Logan Public Works spokesperson Emily Malik. “The city landfill will also open to the public on that day.”
