Students can learn more about being a part of WVU Tech this summer

BECKLEY, WV (WVNS) – WVU Tech is hosting Summer Visit Days.

They are inviting potential students to visit the campus.

Those who attend can learn more about being a WVU Tech student.

The summer visits are themed around the idea of carnivals with carnival themed food.

Jordan Smith, Senior Admissions Counselor for WVU Tech, explained these visits are similar to a bigger event coming in the fall.

“Think of summer visits as more of miniature open house. We have what we call Discover Day every fall. Dates are to be determined for that right now, usually in October. The summer visit day is a smaller scale of that,” Smith said to 59News.

The Summer Visit Days are on Friday, July 12 and Friday, August 2.

They start at 10 a.m. and last until 12:30 p.m.
