    WVU issues Campus Warning following reported burglaries

    MORGANTOWN, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Campus Warning has been issued at WVU following reported burglaries.

    West Virginia University Police issued a Campus Warning on Tuesday, July 2, following a reported burglary at a university-owned building located at 633 North Spruce St.

    Around 9 AM, members of a cleaning crew arrived at the site and reported finding three unauthorized individuals inside the building.

    The suspects, described as one woman and two men, fled the scene before police arrived.

    No arrests have been made in connection with this incident.

    Anyone with information about the burglary or the suspects is urged to contact University Police at 304-293-2677 or visit the department at 992 Elmer Prince Drive. Information can be shared anonymously.

    In a separate, unrelated incident, University Police arrested one individual in connection with an off-campus burglary reported earlier the same morning.
