PARKERSBURG — The Wood County Board of Education held a statutory meeting Monday night where elections were held for president, vice president, and members were appointed to the various boards and committees. Parkersburg man charged with first degree murder
PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) - A Parkersburg man wanted in connection to a woman’s body found in southern West Virginia was taken into custody on Tuesday. According to the Parkersburg Police Department, Tony Williamson was taken into custody by the Parkersburg Narcotics Task Force on 7th Street before 4 a.m. on July 2. Police Chief Matt Board states he was taken without incident after he briefly tried to flee from authorities.
