Extremely concerning writings found after Michigan man shoots cars from bedroom window
OWOSSO, Mich. – Some extremely concerning messages were found in the home of a Michigan man who’s accused of shooting cars from his bedroom window, officials said. Mack Adam Davis, 21, of Owosso, was arrested in late June, and a criminal complaint was unsealed that accuses him of possessing a short-barreled rifle.
Multi-township police chase through Mid-Michigan ends in two arrests
LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - Michigan State Police (MSP) are investigating a multi-township car chase that ended with two people arrested overnight. At 12:20 a.m. Tuesday, July 16, MSP said it began in Meridian Township on Jolly Road, where they were chasing a car but stopped the pursuit due to police policy. The car eventually ended up in Lansing, where troopers again attempted to stop it but were unable to.

Nessel reviews fatal police shooting, finds officers acted in self defense
On Monday, the Department of Attorney General announced it has concluded the review of the December 1, 2023, officer involved shooting death of Stephen Luis Romero, 33, of Lansing, without issuing charges against the officers involved, finding they acted in self-defense. An investigation of the shooting incident was conducted by the Michigan State Police. It is the policy of Ingham County Prosecutor’s Office to request the Department of Attorney General review all fatal shootings by officers in Ingham County for the possibility of misconduct or criminal wrongdoing.
