BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ – In June, Somerset Hills YMCA, a branch of the Greater Somerset County YMCA, hosted its second annual men’s toiletry drive. June is a month filled with celebrations, including Father’s Day, making it the perfect time to give back. The drive was held in partnership with Market Street Mission of Morristown, a local non-profit that supports men facing addiction, chronic homelessness, unemployment, and mental illness.
Thanks to generous donations, the Y collected essential men’s toiletries, including brand-new care items, which will be distributed to men in need. Once itemized, the essentials will be picked up and housed at the Mission.
“After another successful year, we are even more committed to our partnership with Market Street Mission. Though our organizations approach our missions differently, we continue to unite in our goal to create a significant, positive impact in our community,” shares Eddie Norgard, Branch Associate Executive Director, Somerset Hills YMCA.
