Foresters Struggle on Defense and at the Plate in 8-2 Loss to San Luis Obispo Blues
With only three games remaining in the regular season, the Foresters suffered a major setback with an 8-2 loss to the S.L.O. Blues on Wednesday at Eddie Matthews Field. The Foresters have struggled with their rivals from San Luis Obispo of late, dropping their last three games against the Blues. In addition, Wednesday’s loss was especially costly as it dropped Santa Barbara a half-game behind Conejo Oaks for first place in the CCL South standings.
Football Game Times Announced for 2024 Season
SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. — Game times have been finalized for all 11 football games for the 2024 season. In addition, all the platforms that games will be streamed on have been decided. 10 of the Mustangs’ 11 games will be streamed live on ESPN+. Cal Poly’s Sept. 7 game at Stanford will air on the ACC Digital Network.

UC Irvine men’s basketball team has signed transfer forward Kyle Evans, a former standout at Santa Margarita High School, to the 2024-25 roster, athletic officials said Friday. Evans, an Aliso Viejo native, returns to Southern California for his junior season after attending Colorado State for his first two seasons.
