Valdosta man indicted for deadly February stabbing
VALDOSTA, Ga. (WCTV) - A grand jury has indicted a Valdosta man for a deadly stabbing that happened on February 28 of this year. John Paul Battle has been charged with felony murder, aggravated assault and possession of a knife during the commission of a felony, according to the indictment documents.

VALDOSTA, LOWNDES COUNTY, Georgia – The Valdosta Police Department (VPD) has released information about their identification and recovery of a stolen car. The VPD states that a VPD Officer who was in the vicinity of the 13000 block of Bethune Street identified a reported stolen car from another location. The incident occurred on Saturday, July 27th about 12:30 a.m.
