Florida Man On Stolen Walmart Scooter Leads Police In Low-Speed Chase

Money from Mayo fundraisers allegedly stolen
Christian Peterson reporter.riverbendnews@gmail.com On Tuesday, June 25, Deputy Joan Negrette with Lafayette County Sheriff's Office (LCSO) responded to a report of money that went missing in regards to a fundraiser. In a report filed by LCSO, Deputy Negrette explained that she initially made contact with Sean McGuinness. He told her that he wanted to press charges against Kim Townsend, age 53 of Mayo, for misplacement of money. The money was raised for McGuinness' son DJ Carver's funeral expenses. McGuinness explained that Negrette then spoke with LCSO Sheriff Brian Lamb. He told her that Townsend had come up to the sheriff's office earlier that morning, informing him that McGuinne.
