38 Year Old Pullman Man Arrested For Allegedly Stabbing Moscow Man During Large Fight At Convenience Store
A 38 year old Pullman man has been arrested for allegedly stabbing a Moscow man during a large fight at a convenience store. Pullman Police responded to a disturbance at the Sunset Mart on Bishop Boulevard around 5:00 on Monday afternoon. The initial call reported that about a half a dozen people were fighting and one man had a knife. When officers arrived all of the combatants were gone. A 22 year old Moscow man was stabbed and went to Pullman Regional Hospital in a private vehicle and was then flown to a Spokane hospital. Officers determined that the victim and suspect knew each other and that the fight was the result of a social media dispute.

Moscow Police Department Participates in Statewide Impaired Driving Mobilization
This Independence Day, the Moscow Police Department is teaming up with the Idaho Transportation Department’s Office of Highway Safety (OHS) to prevent impaired driving. July 3rd – 10th, law enforcement agencies statewide will dedicate resources to stop drivers under the influence of drugs and alcohol. The 4th of July travel period comes during the 100 Deadliest Days on Idaho roads, between Memorial Day and Labor Day. According to OHS data, 31 people have been killed in crashes in Idaho since Memorial Day this year.
Deadly crash in Lenore kills one, blocks US Highway 12 for almost three hours
LENORE, Idaho — Two cars collided on US Highway 12 at milepost 29 near Lenore, Idaho, on Sunday evening after a driver crossed into oncoming traffic. A silver car driven by a 36-year-old female from Lewiston, Idaho, was traveling eastbound on US Highway 12 when it crossed into oncoming traffic. A westbound gray SUV swerved to avoid the car.

PULLMAN - Investigators were unable to pinpoint the cause of February’s blaze that destroyed a Pullman area storage building. The City of Pullman Fire Department’s Fire Marshal Darren Jones has completed his investigation into the February 8th blaze. The cause of the fire is undetermined although Marshal Jones says it was likely an accident.

Washington State University employees need to check their direct deposit account information today following a scam attack. According to a post on the university website, scammers tricked several WSU employees to divulge their university network credentials which allowed the criminals to access Workday. They changed the direct deposit information to their own accounts to steal the paychecks.
