Polk County convicted child predator sentenced to life in prison
A Polk County judge has sentenced a convicted child predator to life in prison with no possibility of parole. This comes after a jury found 48-year-old Livingston resident Shannon Keith Hardee guilty on two counts of second degree felony Sexual Assault of a Child and two counts of first degree felony Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child.

Woman leads police on chase from Beaumont to Sulphur
SULPHUR, La. (KPLC) - A Texas woman is facing several charges after leading police on a chase from Beaumont to Sulphur. The Beaumont Police Department said officers were notified of a woman attempting to cash a forged check at the Common Cents Credit Union in Beaumont. When officers arrived and tried to make contact with the woman, she sped away, leading police, Texas Highway Patrol, and eventually Louisiana State Police (LSP) on a chase on I-10 Eastbound.
