Eligible applicants may qualify for serious needs assistance, basic home repairs, personal property losses and other eligible expenses related to this disaster. Previously, survivors in in Brazoria, Chambers, Fort Bend, Galveston, Harris, Jasper, Jackson, Jefferson, Liberty, Orange, Matagorda, Montgomery, Nacogdoches, Polk, San Jacinto, Walker and Wharton counties were approved for assistance. Texas Gov. Abbott celebrates latest arrest from '10 Most Wanted Criminal Illegal Immigrants' list
Texas Governor Greg Abbott announced that U.S. Marshals have arrested one of Texas' "most wanted" illegal immigrants, Fabian Toribio-Martinez. The 25-year-old Mexican national was apprehended after being accused of raping a child and possession of a controlled substance. Toribio-Martinez was arrested at an apartment complex and is currently held in the Williamson County Jail.
