Workforce concerns took center stage at Center for Rural Health’s recent Dakota Conference on Rural & Public Health. If there was a theme for the 39th Annual Dakota Conference on Rural and Public Health, it would be “How to Build a Healthier North Dakota.” In 1990, North Dakota was the healthiest state in the nation, according to America’s Health Rankings. New-Look City Council Debates Potential Land Purchase
A fresh look City Council took the dais Monday evening, the first of July, with three new members being sworn in. Outgoing City Councilmembers Stephan Podrygula, Scott Burlingame, and Carrie Evans were replaced with the newly elected members Mike Blessum, Rob Fuller, and Scott Samuelson in a special session taking place immediately before the regular session. This included Mark Jantzer being elected as President and Lisa Olson elected Vice President of the city council.
