Scattered Showers & Storms On July 4th
FOURTH OF JULY: We are starting off our holiday with temperatures in the 50s and low 60s across the region. In the James River Valley and in parts of southeast ND, there are showers and a few rumbles of thunder. This will continue across the southern Valley through the morning. The good news for our 4th of July is weather models have backed off on the amount of, and frequency of rain and storms for much of the area for this afternoon and evening. However, there still will be showers and storms! Temperatures will warm into the low to upper 70s by the late afternoon hours. For the all important mid to late evening hours our sky will remain mostly cloudy to cloudy with showers diminishing late meaning mostly dry conditions for those fireworks displays, though there will still be a few lingering showers.
