Williston Airport Director talks subsidies as city renews minimum revenue guarantee agreement with SkyWest
WILLISTON, N.D. (KUMV) - The Williston City Commission voted to approve renewal of a minimum revenue guarantee agreement with SkyWest Airlines to keep Delta at XWA. The contract, which was set to expire in June, maintains daily flights between Williston and Minneapolis for 2024 with the expectation of the city covering any losses incurred. This has been in place since 2021 as a way to bring the airline back to XWA after the pandemic.
