Mount Airy hosts Northwest Basketball Academy

Campers took part in drills and received instruction from varsity head coach Robbie Rives, members of the varsity and JV coaching staff, and current and former Mount Airy players.

Mount Airy High School hosted the Northwest Basketball Academy June 10-13.

Campers also took part in numerous competitions. This included two team tournaments in which divisions were separated by age.

The champions of the ACC Division, coached by Ian Gallimore: LJ Hargrave, Graham Hauser, Zade Henson, Landry O’Neil, Carter Deshields. Junah Goins and Christian Deshields.

The champions of the NBA division, coached by Dreshon Smith and Eli Morrison: Silas Hiatt, Fisher Levan, Rowdee Payne, Blake Haynes, Gavin Fraizer, Bear Graham, Chase Kniskern and Rowan Fitzgibbons.
