Pedestrian, 61, killed in east Salem collision
The Marion County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a 61-year-old pedestrian, after he was hit by a vehicle Sunday morning in east Salem. At 9:59 a.m. a passerby called 911 to report that a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on State Street, near 47th Avenue, according to a statement from the sheriff’s office.
