Family of 5 on bikes injured in hit-and-run crash in Garden Grove
Police are searching for a driver responsible for a hit-and-run crash that injured a family of five - including three children - in Garden Grove.It happened Sunday just after 7:30 p.m. near Haster Street and Twintree Lane.According to investigators, two adults were riding bicycles with the children in carts.Orange County Fire Authority Captain Greg Barta said one child was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. The two adults and the two other children are reportedly in stable condition.Details on how exactly the crash occurred and information on the driver involved were not immediately released by police, but surveillance video obtained by Eyewitness News shows the moment before the collision.You can see a black car going down the street before the crash. A man who lives across the street told ABC7 he immediately rushed to help the victims.Video taken after the crash shows the mangled bicycles in the middle of the street.
