Augusta County Sheriff’s Office continues investigating Greenville shooting
AUGUSTA COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) — The Augusta County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate the shooting that took place last week in Greenville. In a release, Sheriff Donald Smith said that due to the seriousness of the injuries sustained by the victim, the Sheriff’s Office is continuing to devote an enormous amount of time and resources to identify the other party of the road rage incident.
Invasive Species Removed From Jordans Point

One dies in car crash in Rockingham County
ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- Virginia State Police is looking into a single-vehicle fatal crash that happened on Sunday morning in Rockingham County. At 1:35 a.m., a 2002 Honda Accord driven by 17-year-old Gadge Crawford of Timberville was traveling west on Route 259 when it crossed a double-solid yellow centerline, ran off the left side of the roadway and struck and embankment and a fence before overturning.
