A Bradford woman is wanted by the McKean County Sheriff’s Office for failing to appear. 40-Year-old Starr Lynn Belcher has an active bench warrant issued against her for failure to appear in court for trial after being served a subpoena. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.

Christina S. Gray, 71, of Russell, PA, passed away Friday, July 12, 2024, at her residence, after battling cancer for the past year. Christina was born October 16, 1952, in Jamestown, NY, the daughter of the late Claude and Evelyn Nelson Burroughs. She was a 1970 graduate of Eisenhower High School. Christina cleaned, painted, and wallpapered houses for others and also refinished antiques from her home. She attended Wiltsie Community Church for most of her life and enjoyed going every Sunday. She enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed her horses and horseback riding, her dog “Muppy”, carving and woodburning, camping, taking walks, bowling, going for rides, cooking for her family, and shouting “Wallahooey” when she was excited.

Dorothy L. “Dot” Fleming, 92, of Warren, PA, passed away on Friday July 12, 2024, after a brief stay at the Warren Manor. Dot was born September 13, 1931, in Jamestown, NY, the daughter of the late Calvin and Ethel Chamberlain Slagle. Dot was a 1949 graduate of Jamestown High School. When she married and started her family, she volunteered as a “Gray Ladies” at the Warren General Hospital 54 years, delivering mail, flowers and gifts throughout the hospital. She was also a volunteer for the Red Cross, working many blood drives throughout the years. She also worked alongside her husband at the National Forge Credit Union for 12 years.
