Dorothy L. “Dot” Fleming
Dorothy L. “Dot” Fleming, 92, of Warren, PA, passed away on Friday July 12, 2024, after a brief stay at the Warren Manor. Dot was born September 13, 1931, in Jamestown, NY, the daughter of the late Calvin and Ethel Chamberlain Slagle. Dot was a 1949 graduate of Jamestown High School. When she married and started her family, she volunteered as a “Gray Ladies” at the Warren General Hospital 54 years, delivering mail, flowers and gifts throughout the hospital. She was also a volunteer for the Red Cross, working many blood drives throughout the years. She also worked alongside her husband at the National Forge Credit Union for 12 years.

The Warren High School Class of 1957 will meet on Saturday, July 20, for lunch at Mama Jane’s Eatery, 115 Ludlow St., at 12:30 p.m. The Allegheny Outdoor Club will hold a short hike followed by a potluck lunch on Sunday, July 21. The group will meet at 2 p.m. for the ike at 1650 Liberty St., Warren, and the picnic will follow at about 3 p.m. at the DeFrees Park on Fourth Ave. Meat and water will be provided. A state Department Conservation and Natural Resources grant through the Route 6 Alliance is covering the cost for bike racks and repair stations in Warren, Tidioute and Youngsville.
