On July 8, 2024, at 12:00 PM, the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office reported the arrest of 22-year-old Ryan A. Olson of Franklinville, NY. An Olean woman was arrested Thursday morning for allegedly failing to report an address change. Olean Police report that 30-year-old Courtney L Brown was charged with failure to report an address change as a sex offender, which is a felony. Brown was released with an appearance ticket.

The goal of the Wheel Throwing class is to provide students with a general understanding of basic beginner level throwing techniques such as centering, pulling walls, trimming, and glazing. Participants of the class will gain a broader understanding of wheel throwing and the stages of making a pot. Skill levels can include someone who has been working with clay for 30 years to someone who has never touched clay. We all have something to learn! If desired, bring your own aprons and hand towels.
GOELLER CHOSEN TO LEAD PITT-BRADFORD WOMEN'S LACROSSE
The Pitt-Bradford athletics department has announced that Vic Goeller has been named the inaugural head coach of the university’s Women’s Lacrosse program. Goeller joins the Panthers from Wells College, where he posted a 21-20 record over three seasons with the Express. In three seasons at Wells, Goeller turned around the lacrosse program after the COVID-19 pandemic, leading the Express to a 16-1 season with an AMCC championship in 2024. Goeller has guided 10 student-athletes to all-conference selections, and this season had two players be named Offensive Player and Newcomer of the Year. He was also named 2024 AMCC Co-Coach of the Year.
