Kevin Pittsnogle Becomes School Principal
MORGANTOWN, West Virginia — Kevin Pittsnogle is one of the greatest basketball players in West Virginia University history. While at WVU, Pittsnogle, a Martinsburg, West Virginia native, led the Mountaineers to a 24-11 record, a Big East Tournament runner-up finish and an appearance in the NCAA Elite Eight in 2005. In 2006, he averaged 19.3 points and 5.5 rebounds per game in 2006 to help the Mountaineers to a 22-11 record and the school’s second straight NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 appearance.
