In the midst of taking another shot at Penn State, Pitt head coach Pat Narduzzi also offered WVU a compliment. When asked about the importance of rivalries during the ACC Kickoff event on Tuesday, Narduzzi made it clear he wants to play the Backyard Brawl as much as possible. He even offered appreciation for the Mountaineers for being a willing participant, a stark contrast to what Pitt deals with when it comes to trying to schedule Penn State.

Stripe the Stadium, Other Promotional Dates for 2024 West Virginia University Football Schedule Announced
The West Virginia University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics has released its 2024 football home game promotional schedule for this fall at Milan Puskar Stadium. The highly anticipated Coal Rush game will be announced at a later date for one of the following home games; Kansas, Iowa State, Kansas State or Baylor. All fans in attendance will be encouraged to wear black to the game and join the Mountaineers as they debut the new black alternate uniform that pays homage to the state's rich coal tradition and honor miners who work underground daily to supply.

Tractor Supply sets opening date for Lower Burrell store
The gears for a Tractor Supply store in Lower Burrell are in motion. Annalee Rivers, a spokeswoman for Tractor Supply, said the company plans to open a store there in November 2025. City Manager Greg Primm identified the location as 108 Greensburg Road. It is a vacant, wooded lot next to a Family Dollar store in the Kinloch section of the city.
