She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Harris “Glenn” Spell. They were married in Goldsboro on December 10, 1960. She is also survived by her four daughters, Debbie Smith (Mark), Dee Rook (Kevin), Marcie Lane (James), Angie Hinson (David), and one son, Harris “Buddy” Spell Jr. (Melissa) as well as her four-legged companion, Cody Joe Spell.
